Stay on your side of STATELINE ROAD!
Back in early November there was an accident in Leawood Kansas. The parties involved were two young women, minding their own business driving on Nall Avenue through a green light at 119th Street. The car that hit them was a Grandview Missouri Police car.
Ashely Wanger and Emma Rothbrust were heading north on Nall at 119th Street when their car was hit by a Grandview police car in pursuit of a stolen vehicle.
Rothbrust was on the passenger side and took the brunt of the collision, KMBC's Krista Klaus reported. Rothburst remains in intensive care with internal injuries and a broken pelvis.

The Grandview Police officers were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle, and were chasing it at high speeds. I have no problem with that... IN MISSOURI. But the minute they crossed a street by the name of STATELINE ROAD, they became ordinary citizens with no more rights than I have to pursue someone at high speeds.
The two officers have been charged in Johnson County Kansas with reckless driving... and I hope they throw the book at them. Stay in Missouri. If you need help because a criminal crosses into Kansas.. guess what, we have police officers here who would be more than willing to take over the pursuit.
Wednesday, the two Grandview officers, Brian Blessing and Doug Blodgett, were arraigned in a Johnson County courtroom on reckless driving charges. Dozens of Missouri police showed up to support the accused officers, who say they were just doing their job.
Johnson County District Attorney Paul Morrison said the Grandview officers exercised poor judgment in the chase.
The officers will appear in traffic court on Dec. 29.

This is yet another instance where Missouri thinks the state line doesn't exist. Well you stupid shits put one girl in the hospital for a month, and doctors aren't sure how long until she can walk again... or how well she'll walk when she does.
Of course at the first hearing those two officers were joined by dozens of Missouri police officers showing their support... FOR CHRISTS SAKE, isn't there any crime in Missouri? Get the fuck out on the streets and let the LAW take its course, which will hopefully be a hefty fine at least!
