Brass Balls the Size of Rice
Michael A. Smith has brass balls... I'll give him that. Too bad they are the size of a grain of rice.
For those who don't know who Mr. Smith is, he is the guy who spit tobacco juice on Jane Fonda at a book signing in Kansas City. You can read the story here.
In 1972, Jane Fonda went to North Vietnam and posed for pictures with Viet Cong troops and American prisioners of war. She said the POWs were well cared for, and spoke out openly regarding her opposition to the war. You know what... sounds like the right of any American. Freedom of speech and freedom of expression. Vietnam veterans have been pissed off about that for 35+ years, which amazes me. They were fighting to "keep southeast Asia free", but were pissed off because one American exercised her right?
Personally, I don't like what Fonda did in 1972... but whether I like it or not, it's not my place to tell her what to think or believe. She didn't kill or assault people, she simply stated her opinion.
Here is how Mr. Smith described what occurred at the book signing:
"I expressed my opinion of her -- to her," Smith said. "I had the opportunity -- a lot of guys won't have it -- and I did it for them."
Expressed his opinion? More like expressed his salivary glands. Then to top it all off, this veteran who was championing the other men of that war (both living and dead) ran. He ran like a little scared pussy. I would hardly call that expressing an opinion to her. That is more like a mugger. A fucking COWARD who claims to be a hero, but winds up being an old man with a grudge.
Anyone who applauds this man, think about this scenario.
Your a Chiefs fan. You go to Invesco Field to watch a Chiefs v Broncos game. Of course you wear your brand new #23 Patrick Surtain jersey. Why can't a Broncos fan spit on you? They don't agree with you. They think the horsies are a better team than the queifs. It's their "house". Think about it.
